The 3217-S 95/31 model has a distinctive frame with three lenses. This full-rim frame in black features lenses made from quartz (mineral crystal), which makes sunglasses scratch-proof. The green lenses have 100% protection from sun harmful UV rays. They are also polarized which means that they reduce light glare and eye strain and improve vision and safety in the sun. Made from cellulose acetate (lightweight and hypoallergenic plastic) this model features all of Persol’s hallmarks, including the iconic Silver Arrow, Meflecto System. Meflecto was the world’s first flexible stem system, ensuring that the frames adapt to fit the unique shape of every face. The nose pads are fixed and create maximum comfort because they spread the weight of the glasses across a greater area instead of having it concentrated on smaller points like adjustable nose pads․
